Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 2024
By accessing the services of POLSCO LTD, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they constitute a legally binding agreement between you and POLSCO LTD.
1. Service Provision
POLSCO LTD provides gourmet food preparation and logistical delivery services. All services are subject to availability and our acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to modify menu items or delivery routes due to ingredient seasonality or logistical constraints in the Edinburgh region.
2. User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate delivery information and contact details. It is the user's responsibility to disclose any severe food allergies during the ordering process. While we take extreme care to prevent cross-contamination, POLSCO LTD cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment in all logistical stages unless a "Bespoke Clean-Room" service is contracted.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is required in full at the point of order for retail clients. Corporate clients with established accounts are subject to Net 15 or Net 30 payment terms as specified in their individual service level agreements (SLAs).
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Standard orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to delivery for a full refund. Corporate events require 72 hours' notice. Refunds for quality issues are subject to a physical or photographic audit by our quality control team. Due to the perishable nature of our products, "Change of Mind" returns are not possible.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Scots Law, POLSCO LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
